    [٢٥٢٩] دُخَيْن بن عامِر الخجري -بالخاء المعجمة (¬٢) -، أبو لَيْلى، المِصْريُّ (¬٣). سمع: عُقْبة بن عامر الجُهَنيَّ، وكان كاتبه. روى عنه: المُغيرة بن نَهِيك، وبكر بن سُوَادة، ويزيد بن أبي مَنْصور، وكعب بن عَلْقَمَة. قال ابن ماكولا (¬٤): يقال: قتلته الروم سنة مئة. روي له: أبو داود. قلت: والنَّسَائي، وابن ماجه.
