    [٢٥٢٤] داود بن مَنْصور الثَّغْريُّ، أبو سُلَيْمَان (¬٢). نَسَائي الأصل، سكن بغداد، وولي قضاء المِصِّيصة، وانتقل عن بغداد إليها فسكنها. سمع: اللَّيْث بن سعد، وأيوب بن خَوْط، ومحمد بن راشد المَكْحوليَّ، وإبراهيم بن طَهْمَان، وعبد الرحمن بن ثابت بن ثَوْبان، وجرير بن حازم، وَوُهَيْب بن خَالد، وقَيْس بن الرَّبيع، وأبا مَعْشَر المَدَنيَّ. روى عنه: إبراهيم بن سعيد الجَوْهَرِيُّ، وأبو حاتم الرَّازِيُّ، والهيثم ابن خَالد، وعلي بن محمد بن عليّ المصيصيَّان. قال أبو حاتم: صدوقٌ. روي له: النَّسَائي، ووثقه.
