[٢٤٤١] خالد بن يزيد بن معاوية بن أبي سُفْيَان بن حرب بن أُمَيَّة بن عبد شمس القُرَشِيُّ الأُموي، أخو عبد الرحمن بن يزيد (¬١). روى عن: أبيه، ودِحْيَة بن خَلِيفة الكَلْبي. روى عنه: الزُّهْريّ، ورجاء بن حَيْوة، والعبّاس بن عبيد الله بن عَبَّاس، وإبراهيم بن أبي حُرَّة الحَرَّاني، وعُليّ بن رباح، وخالد بن عامر الزَّبادي، وأبو الأخضر مَوْلاه. قال أبو حاتم: هو من الطبقة الثالثة من تابعي أهل الشَّام. وقال أبو زرعة الدِّمَشْقِيّ: معاوية وعبد الرحمن وخالد إخوة، وكانوا من صالحي القوم. روي له: أبو داود.
