[١٩٩٤] حاتم بن حُرَيث الطَّائيّ الحِمْصيُّ، الشَّاميُّ المَحْريُّ (¬٢). روى عن: معاوية بن أبي سفيان، وأبي أُمامة البَاهلي، وجُبَيْر بن نُفَير، ومالك بن أبي مَرْيم.روى عنه: مُعَاوية بن صالح، والجَرَّاح بن مَليح. قال عثمان بن سعيد: قلت ليحيى بن معين: حاتم بن حُرَيث قال: لا أعرفه. وقال عبد الرحمن: سألت أبي عنه؟ فقال: شيخ. روي له: أبو داود، وابن ماجه.
