    [١٣٦٩] أحمد بن عُمر الحِمْيريّ البَزَّاز، البَغْداديّ، أبو جعفر السِّمسار، يعرف بِحَمْدان (¬١). سمع: عبيد الله بن موسى، وأبا الجَوَّاب الأحوص بن جَوَّاب، وأبا النضر هاشم بن القاسم، ورَوْح بن عُبادة، وأبا نوح قرادًا، ومحمد بن مصعب، والفَضْل بن دُكَيْن، ومعاوية بن عمرو، وأبا حُذَيفة النهدي. روى عنه: البخاري، ومحمد بن محمد الباغَنْدي، ومحمد بن المُعَلّي الشُّونيزي، ويعقوب بن أحمد الجَصَّاص، والقاضي المَحَامِلي، ومحمد بن مخلد العطار. قال الخطيب: وكان ثقة. مات سنة ثمان وخمسين ومئتين.
