[١١٤٤] محمد بن غُرَيْر بن الوليد بن إبراهيم بن عبد الرحمن بن عَوْف، أبو عبد الله الزُّهْرِيُّ المَدَنيُّ، يعرف بالغُرَيْريُّ (¬١). قال البُخَاري: هو مدني. وقال ابن عدي: هو من أهل صعيد سمرقند. روى عن: يعقوب بن إبراهيم بن سَعْد، ومُطَرِّف بن عبد الله اليساري. روى عنه: البُخَاري، وأبو جعفر محمد بن أحمد بن نَصْر التِّرْمِذِيّ، وعبد الله بن شبيب المَكِّي.
