[٤٦٣] قيس بن النعمان من وفد عبد القيس فيما يحسب عوف بن أبي جميلة (¬٣). وقال أبو عبد الله بن منده: القيسي، ويقال: السكوني. قال البخاري: حديثه في الكوفيين والبَصْريين. روى عنه: زيد بن علي أبو القَمُوص، وإياد بن لَقيط (¬٤). روى له: أبو داود.
