[٣٤٠] عبد الرحمن بن أزهر بن عبد عوف بن عبد الحارث (¬٢)، وقيل: ابن أخي عبد الرحمن، والأول أصح (¬٣). يُكْنَى أبا جبير. شهد مع النبي ﷺ حنينًا، وروى عنه حديث شارب الخمر، بحُنين. روى عنه: ابنه عبد الله، هكذا روي عَقيل عن الزهري، عن أبيه عبد الله، عنه. وروى أسامة بن زيد الليثي هذا الحديث عن الزهري، ولم يذكر عن أبيه، وقد روى عنه: أبو سلمة بن عبد الرحمن، وكُريب مولى ابن عباس، ومحمد بن إبراهيم بن الحارث التَّيْمِي.مات قبل الحَرَّة. روى له: أبو داود.
