[٢٦٣] الطُّفيل (¬١) بن سَخْبَرَة، ويقال: الطُّفيل بن عبد الله بن سخبرة (¬٢). وهو أخو عائشة لأمها. روى عن النبي ﷺ حديثًا واحدًا. روى عنه: رِبْعِي بن حِرَاش. قال ابن أبي خيثمة: لا أدري مِن أي قُريش هو. قال الواقدي: كانت أم رومان تحت عبد الله بن الحارث بن سَخبرة ابن جُرثومة بن غادية بن مُرَّة بن الأوس بن النَّمِر بن غيمان الأسدي، فقدم بها مكة، فحالف أبا بكر قبل الإسلام، وتوفي عنها وقد ولدت له الطفيل، ثم خلف عليها أبو بكر فولدت له عبد الرحمن وعائشة، فهما أخوا الطفيل لأمه. وقول الواقدي أشبه، وعلى قوله تكون نسبة الطفيل إلى قريش بالحلف، لا بالنسب. روي له: ابن ماجه.
