    ٥٣٦٩ - (ق) يحيى بن أبي المطاع، القرشي، الشامي (¬٢) قال المزي: ذكره أبو زرعة في الطبقة الرابعة. انتهى. لم يذكره أبو زرعة إلا في الثالثة مجاورًا يحيى بن يحيى الغساني الذي يقول فيه المزي بعد: ذكره أبو زرعة في الطبقة الثالثة، والشيخ في هذا معذور؛ لأنه لم ير كتاب الطبقات، إنما ينقل بوساطة. وقال ابن القطان: يحيى بن أبي المطاع، لا يعرف بغير الحديث الذي اختاره البزار عن العرباض في الموعظة.
