    [٧٩٦٢] (د) يحيى بن أَزْهَر المِصري، مولى قريش. روى عن: عمَّار بن سعد المُرَادي، والحجَّاج بن شدَّاد، وأَفْلَح بن حُمَيد، وعاصم بن عمر. وعنه: ابن وهب، وبَكر بن مُضَر وإدريس بن يحيى الخَوْلَاني، وعبد الرحمن بن القاسم، وسعيد بن كثير بن عُفَيْر. قال ابن تَلِيْد (¬٥): يحيى بن أَزْهَر من أهل وأثنى عليه خيرًا (¬٦). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٧).وقال ابن يونس كان رجلًا صالحًا، وله حديثٌ مُسْنَدٌ، وهو، وهو قديمُ الموت، توفي سنةَ إحدى وستّين ومائة (¬١). قلت: ووثَّقه ابن بكير. وسئل عنه ابن أبي مريم: فقال: ما عَلِمْتُ إلا خيرًا (¬٢).
