    ٤٠٥٧ - (س ق) علي بن ميمون، الرقي، أبو الحسن، العطار، والد محمد (¬١) ذكره أبو عروبة في الطبقة السادسة من أهل حران، وقال: كان لا يخضب. وتوفي سنة خمس وأربعين ومائتين. وفي "تاريخ الرقة" لأبي علي القشيري: كان من الفرس. وخرج ابن حبان حديثه في "صحيحه". وذكر ابن عبد البر في "تاريخ قرطبة" أن بقيًا روى عنه، ولا يروي إلا عن ثقة عنده. وقال مسلمة في كتاب "الصلة": وهو لا بأس به.
