    [٤٦٩٨] (ت) عثمان بن ربيعة بن عبد الله بن الهُدَيْر (¬٢)، التيمي (¬٣). روى عن: شداد بن أوس حديث: الاستغفار. وعنه: كثير بن زيد الأَسْلَمِي. قال أبو حاتم: أُراه أخا صالح بن ربيعة (¬٤). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٥). روى له الترمذي هذا الحديث الواحد (¬٦). قلت: قال ابن حبان: يروي المراسيل (¬٧). وقال الذهبي: لم يرو عنه إلا كثير بن زيد (¬٨) (¬٩).
