    ٣١٥١ - (ع) عبد اللَّه بن سلام بن الحارث الإسرائيلي أبو يوسف، حليف القواقلة من بني عوف بن الخزرج (¬٣) أسلم عند قدوم النبي ﷺ المدينة، وكان اسمه حصين، فسماه ﷺ: عبد اللَّه، كذا ذكره المزي. وفي كتاب "الصحابة" للبرقي، و"التاريخ الكبير" للفسوي: أسلم قبل وفاة النبي ﷺ، زاد البرقي في ما ذكره الفريابي: عن قيس بن الربيع، عن عاصم، عن الشعبي. وقال أبو نعيم الحافظ: وهو من بني قينقاع، وقال أبو أحمد العسكري: كان اسمهغيلان، فسماه النبي ﷺ: عبد اللَّه. وذكره محمد بن سعد في الطبقة الثالثة ممن شهد الخندق وما بعدها، وأبو عروبة من البدريين، قال: وفي بعض الروايات يكنى أبا حمزة.
