٢٤٢١ - (خ م د س) سنان بن أبي سنان يزيد بن أمية، ويقال ربيعة الديلي المدني (¬١) قال البخاري في "تاريخه الكبير": الدؤلي، ثم الجَدَري نسبة إلى الجدرة، حي من الأزد حلفاء بني الديل بن بكر بن عبد مناة، قال محمد: وقال ابن مسافر، عن ابن شهاب، عن أبي سنان الدولي، عن ابن عباس في الحج، والدول من حنيفة، والديل من كنانة. وفي "الثقات" لابن حبان: كان مولده سنة ثلاث وعشرين. وقال أبو حاتم الرازي، وعلي بن عبد اللَّه التميمي في "تاريخه" الذي رواه عنه سليمان بن عبد الرحمن التميمي: هو من أنفس الدول. وذكره ابن خلفون في "الثقات".
