    ٢٠٣٩ - (بخ ٤) سعد بن أوس العبسي، أو محمد الكوفي الكاتب (¬١) قال ابن الجارود في "المنتقى": ثنا محمد بن يحيى، ثنا أبو نعيم، ثنا سعد بن أوس العبسي الكاتب، قال: حدثني بلال بن يحيى، فذكر حديثًا. وقال الساجي: حدثني أحمد بن محمد، قال: سمعت أبا نعيم يقول: ثنا سعد بن أوس، وكان كاتبا في الديوان. ولما ذكره ابن خلفون في "الثقات" كناه أبا الحسن. ولما ذكره ابن شاهين في "الثقات" قال: قال يحيى بن معين: ليس به بأس. وفي "كتاب ابن سعد": عبسي من أنفسهم.
