    ١٩٠٩ - (ق) زياد ابن أبي مريم الجراح (¬١) كذا سماه البخاري. وقال ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات": زياد ابن أبي مريم مولى عثمان بن عفان يروي عن أبي موسى الأشعري، روى عنه: ميمون بن مهران، واسم أبي مريم الجراح،وهو الذي يروي: عن عبد اللَّه بن معقل: "الندم توبة". ثم قال في "طبقة أتباع التابعين": زياد بن الجراح مولى عثمان مولى عثمان، يروي عن عمرو بن ميمون، وابن معقل، روى عنه جعفر بن برقان، وعبد الكريم الجزريان. وهو في هذا كله تبع البخاري حذو القذة بالقذة. ولما خرج الحاكم حديثه "الندم توبة" سمى أباه الجراح، وذكره ابن خلفون في "الثقات". وفي كتاب "الجرح والتعديل" عن الدارقطني: ثقة.
