    ١٦١٦ - (خ د ق) دَاوُدُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، أبو سليمان، الباهليّ، البصريّ (¬٣) قال صاحب "زهرة المتعلمين": روى عنه البخاري حديثين. وذكره ابن خلفون في كتاب "الثقات"، وخرج ابن حبان حديثه في "صحيحه". وفي كتاب "الجرح والتعديل" عن الدارقطني: ما علمت إلا خيرًا. وقال ابن قانع وغيره: مات سنة اثنين وعشرين ومائتين.
