    [١٤٨٥] (ت س) حفص بن عبد الله الليثي البصري. روى عن: عمران بن حصين. وعنه: أبو التياح. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات ونسبه (¬٢)، وذكره غيره فيمن لا ينسب. أخرجا له حديثًا واحدًا (¬٣) (في النهي عن الحنتم وغيره، ولبس الحرير، والتختم بالذهب) (¬٤)، وصححه الترمذي. قلت: وقال الذهبي: ما علمت روى عنه سوى أبي التياح، ففيه جهالة، لكن صحح الترمذي حديثه (¬٥). • (كن) حفص بن عبد الله: وفي نسخة: جعفر، تقدم في الجيم (¬٦).
