    [١١٧٩] (د) حُبيش بن شريح الحبشي، أبو حفصة، ويُقَال: أبو حَفْص الشَّامِيّ. روى عن: الأشعث بن قيس، وعبادة بن الصَّامِت، ومُعَاوِيَة. وعنه: إِبْرَاهِيم بن أبي عبلة، وعلي بن أبي حملة. قَالَ دحيم: "أدرك عبادة، وحفظ عنه". روى: له أبو دَاوْد حديثًا وَاحِدًا: (¬١) (أوَّلُ مَا خَلَقَ اللهُ القَلَمَ) (¬٢)، وفي إسْنَاده اختلافٌ (¬٣). قلت: ذكره أبو نُعَيْم في "الصَّحَابة"، وصحَّح أنه تابعي (¬٤). وذَكَرهُ ابنُ حِبَّانَ في "ثقات التَّابِعِين"، وقَالَ: "كَان من أهل القدس" (¬٥).

    ١١٨٦ - (د) حُبيش بن شُريح الحبشي، أبو حفصة، ويقال: أبو حفص الشامي (¬٣) أخرجه إسحاق بن سويد الرملي في الصحابة، من أهل فلسطين، سكن بيت جبرين. وأخرجه موسى بن سهل في التابعين، وهو أصح. روى عنه حسان ابن أبي معْن أنه قال: اجتمعت أنا وثلاثون رجلا من الصحابة، فأذنوا وأقاموا وصفيْت بهم، الحديث. ذكره أبو نعيم الحافظ. وذكره الصغاني وابن الجوزي في (المختلف في صحبتهم). ولما ذكره ابن حبان البستي في جملة الثقات قال: كان من أهل القدس. وذكره ابن خلفون في "الثقات".
