    [٥٩٥] (د) أقرع، مؤذنُ عُمَر بن الخطاب. روى عن: عُمَر قولَه للأسْقَفِ: "هَلْ تَجِدُني في الكِتَاب؟ " الحَدِيث (¬٧).وعنه: عَبْد الله بن شقيق العُقَيليّ. روى له أبو دَاوُد هَذا الحَدِيثَ الوَاحِدَ. قلت: وقَالَ العِجليّ: "تابعي، ثِقَة" (¬١). وذَكَرهُ ابنُ حِبَّانَ في "الثِّقَات" (¬٢). وذكره الذَّهَبيّ في "المِيزَان" فقَالَ: "لا يُعرف" (¬٣).
