رجل متصوف دخل بيروت في سياحته حكى عنه أبو العباس أحمد بن محمد بن مسروق أنبأنا أبو القاسم النسيب وأبو محمد بن الأكفاني وغيرهما عن أبي بكر الخطيبأنا أبو الحسن بن رزقويه (١) قراءة عليه أنا عثمان بن أحمد الدقاق نا أبو العباس بن مسروق قال قال لي بعض أصحابنا رأيت على صخرة منقورا (٢) ببيروت خذها (٣) فقد أسمعك الصوت * بادر وإلا فهو الفوت وانهج بما شئت وعش آمنا * آخر هذا كله الموت * ٩٢٦٩ -
