    رجل حضر مؤتة روى عنه محمد بن كعب القرظي أخبرنا أبو بكر محمد بن عبد الباقي أنا الحسن بن علي أنا أبو عمر بن حيوية أنا أبو القاسم بن أبي حية أخبرنا محمد بن شجاع أنا محمد بن عمر (٣) حدثني بكير بن مسمار عن ابن (٤) كعب القرظي أخبرني من حضر يومئذ يعني يوم مؤتة قال ما قتل يعني زيد بن حارثة إلا طعنا بالرماح ثم أخذه يعني اللواء جعفر فنزل عن فرس له شقراء فعرقبها ثم قاتل حتى قتل ٩٠٤٩ -
