    أبو عبد الرحمن الدمشقي عن قتادة روى عنه حميد بن عبد الرحمن هو سعيد بن بشير قد تقدم ذكره في حرف السين ٨٦٧٥ أبو عبد الرحمن شيخ من أهل دمشق روى عنه الوليد بن مسلم وأثني عليه قرأت على أبي القاسم الخضر بن الحسين بن عبدان عن عبد العزيز بن أحمد أنا علي بن الحسن الربعي أنا عبد الوهاب الكلابي نا أحمد بن عمير نا أبو عامر المرى نا الوليد بن مسلم نا أبو عبد الرحمن شيخ من أهل دمشق من خيار المسلمين قال ذكر رسول الله ﷺ مدينة دمشق فقال هي فسطاط المؤمنين وإليها ينحاز الأجناد الأربعة ليقتسمن أفنيتها اقتسام اللحمحرواه عبد السلام بن إسماعيل عن الوليد بن مسلم فقال ليقتسمن أفنيتها قسم اللحم ٨٦٧٦
