    أبو عبد الله العبسي أبو جد الهيثم بن عمران (٢) بن عبد الله بن أبي عبد الله غزا في خلافة عمر بن الخطاب بلاد فارس ثم سكن دمشقأخبرنا أبو الحسن علي بن المسلم الفرضي وعلي بن زيد السلميان قالا أنبأ نصر ابن إبراهيم زاد الفرضي وعبد الله بن عبد الرزاق قالا أنا أبو الحسن بن عوف نا أبو علي بن منير أنا أبو بكر بن خريم نا هشام بن عمار نا الهيثم بن عمران قال كان أبو عبد الله يعني أبا جده ممن حضر مع عقبة بن غزوان السلمي فتح أصطخر ثم قفلوا فكتب عمر بن الخطاب إلى صاحب الشام أن عد أبا عبد الله في سبعين من العطاء وعد عياله في عشرة عشرة ٨٦٤٧ -
