    أبو الصلت أو والد الصلت المروزي التوذي (٥) وفد على عمر بن عبد العزيز حكى عنه ابنه الصلت أنبأنا أبو علي الحسن بن أحمد أنا أبو بكر أحمد بن الفضل بن محمد الباطرقاني أنا أبو عبد الله بن منده أنبأ أبو العباس القاسم بن عبد الله بن مهدي السياري قال قال جدي أحمد بن سيار حدثنا رافع بن أشرس أبو عبد الله نا صلت التوذي قال حدثني أبي قالوفدنا إلى عمر في (١) وادي مرو قال وقال أحمد بن سيار أبو الصلت شيخ من أهل مرو من قرية يقال لها توذ وكان ممن وفد علي عمر بن عبد العزيز ولم يرو عنه إلا ابنه كذا قال أحمد بن سيار فلا أدري أراد بقوله أبو صلت أنه يكنى أبا الصلت أو أراد والد الصلت " حرف الضاد " ٨٦١٢ -
