الوليد بن محمد أبو العباس الجدعاني (٣) حكى عن مسلمة بن عبد الملك بعض أفعاله في مغازيهحكى عنه أبو عبيدة معمر بن المثنى التيمي وذكر عنه أن أباه كان منقطعا إلى الوليد بن عبد الملك فلما مات أوصى به الوليد بن عبد الملك وسماه به فألزمه الوليد ابنه العباس بن الوليد فنشأ معه وكان يغزو معه ٨٠٤٤ -
