معتصم بن عصمة الكلبي ممن جد في عصبية أبي الهيذام وقال في ذلك رجزا قرأت بخط أبي الحسين (١) الرازي فيما أفاده بعض أهل دمشق عن أبيه عن جده وأهل بيته من المؤمنين قال وقال المعتصم بن عصمة الكلبي خوضوا إلى الموت بني قحطان * بالرمي وبالسيف وبالطعان حزوا الرقاب من بني عيلان * فأمسى ما قطعتم لساني لم تشهدوني أمس من إحسان * فاليوم لا أرجع كالجريان * ٧٥٥٠ -
