محرز بن شهاب بن محرز ويقال محيريز بن سفيان بن خالد بن سفر المنقري التميمي كوفي تابعي قدم به عذراء مع حجر بن عدي وأصحابه فقتل بعضهم وأطلق بعضهم وكان محرز ممن قتل وقد تقدم ذكر ذلك في ترجمة أرقم بن عبد الله الكندي أخبرنا علي أبي غالب بن البنا عن أبي الفتح عبد الكريم بن أحمد أنا علي بن عمر الدارقطني قال محرز بن شهاب بن محرز قتل مع حجر بن عدي بمرج عذراء أخبرنا أبو غالب الماوردي أنا أبو الحسن السيرافي أنا أحمد بن إسحاق نا أحمد ابن عمران نا موسى نا خليفة قال (٣) :سنة إحدى وخمسين فيها قتل معاوية حجر بن عدي ومن معه محرز بن شهاب وذكره غيره أن ذلك سنة ثلاث وخمسين ٧٢٢٥ -
