    المبارك بن الزبير المشجعي (٤) حدث عن مكحول روى عنه الوليد بن مسلم أخبرنا أبو القاسم إسماعيل بن أحمد أنا محمد بن هبة الله أنا محمد بن الحسين أنا عبد الله بن جعفر نا يعقوب بن سفيان (٥) نا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم نا الوليد نا (٦) المبارك بن الزبير المشجعي قال سمعت مكحولا يقول:كنت جالسا في مسجد دمشق إذ دخل علينا المقداد فركع ثم خرج فاتبعته فمشيت معه حتى خرج من باب الجابية قال ابن عساكر (١) كذا قال وأظنه أراد المقدام بن معدي كرب فإنه تأخرت وفاته فأما المقداد فإنه مات في خلافة عثمان لم يدركه مكحول والله تعالى أعلم ٧١٩٨ -

    المبارك بن الزبير المشجعي حدث، قال: سمعت مكحولاً يقول: كنت جالساً في مسجد دمشق إذ دخل علينا المقداد، فركع ثم خرج، فاتبعته، فمشيت معه حتى خرج من باب الجابية. كذا قال، وأظنه أراد المقدام بن معدي كرب، فإنه تأخرت وفاته، فأما المقداد فإنه مات في خلافة عثمان، لم يدركه مكحول، والله أعلم.
