محمد بن الحسن بن داود أبو الحسين قاضي دمشق خلافة لأبي عمران موسى بن القاسم بن موسى بن الأشيبأنبأنا أبو محمد بن الأكفاني حدثنا عبد العزيز الكتاني أنبأنا تمام إجازة أنبأنا أبو عبد الله بن مروان قال ثم ولي يعني قضاء دمشق بعد أبي عبد الله الحسين بن محمد بن أبي زرعة أبو الحسن محمد بن الحسن بن داود من قبل ابن الأشيب إلى أن توفي في سنة ثلاثين وثلاثمائة وولي بعده عاصم الرقاشي وكانت وفاة ابن أبي زرعة في ذي الحجة سنة سبع وعشرين وثلاثمائة ٦٢١٦ -
