محمد بن حدقة (١) بن سليمان بن حماد بن سمرة بن عبد الرحمن أبو عبد الله البكري المعروف بابن الجسطار أصلهم من الكوفة وكان بعضهم يقول إنهم أسديون (٢) حدث عن من لم يسم لنا روايته عنه كتب عنه أبو الحسين الرازي قرأت بخط نجا بن أحمد وذكر أنه نقله من خط ابي الحسين الرازي في تسمية من كتب عنه بدمشق أبو عبد الله محمد بن حدقة (٣) بن سليمان بن حماد بن سمرة بن عبد الرحمن البكري وكان يعرف بابن الجسطار مات سنة عشرين وثلاثمائة ٦٢٠٠ -
