قعنب بن ضمرة وهو قعنب بن أم صاحب الفزاري شاعر قدم على الوليد بن عبد الملك ذكره المدائني فيمن ينسب إلى أمه من الشعراء قرأت بخط الخطابي الشاعر لقعنب بن ضمرة وهو ابن أم صاحب (٢) * أتيت الوليد فألفيته * كما قد علمت عييا بخيلا عيي القضاء بطئ العطاء * لا يرسل الخير إلا قليلا قعدت الوليد وابقا له * كثيل القعود أبى أن يبولا فليت لنا خالدا بالوليد * وعبد العزيز بيحى بديلا أنحن قعدنا بأبنائنا * أم القوم (٣) أكرم منك (٤) فحولا فإن تمنعوا ما بأيديكم فلن * تمنعوني إذا أن أقولا *" ذكر من اسمه قنان " ٥٧٤٢ -
