قسام الحارثي (١) من بني الحارث بن كعب من اليمن كان من أهل قرية من قرى جبل سنير يقال لها تلفيتا (٣) وكان ينقل التراب على الدواب ثم اتصل برجل يعرف بأحمد بن الجسطار من أحداث دمشق فكان من حزبه ثم غلب على دمشق مدة فلم يكن للولاة معه أمر (٤) إلى أن قدم بلتكين التركي من مصر وغلب قساما ودخل دمشق يوم الخميس لثلاث عشرة بقين من المحرم سنة ست وسبعين وثلثمائة فبقي أياما مستترا ثم استأمن قسام إليه فقيده وحمله إلى مصر فعفي عنه وأطلق وكان قد مدحه عبد المحسن الصوري بقيصدة ميمية" ذكر من اسمه (١) قسطنطين " ٥٧٢١ -
