فاتك أبو شجاع المعروف بالخازن الأخشيدي (١) ولي إمرة دمشق فدخلها يوم الأربعاء لثمان بقين من ذي القعدة سنة خمس وأربعين وثلاثمائة وكانت ولايته إياها من قبل أبي القاسم أنوجور (٢) وأبي الحسن علي ابني الإخشيد أبي بكر محمد بن طغج بن جف الفرغاني وكان أبو شجاع هذا شجاعا وامتدت ولايته وبلغني أن فاتكا مات في المحرم سنة سبع وخمسين وثلاثمائة لإحدى عشرة ليلة خلت من المحرم بعد أن عزل عن إمرة دمشق بفنك (٣) الكافوري وحمل إلى صيدا فسأل فيه ابن الشيخ صاحب صيدا فأطلقه فنك فرجع إلى دمشق فأقام بها أياما ثم مات" ذكر من اسمه فارس " ٥٥٧١ -
