غياث بن جميل أبو الخضر المقبري حكى عنه علي الحنائي قرأت بخط أبي (٢) الحسن علي بن محمد الحنائي أخبرني أبو الخضر غياث بن جميل المقبري قال حفرت في مقابر باب توما وأنا صبي وكان من أبناء ثمانين سنة أو دونها قال فلما وصلت إلى اللحد رأيت مثل النطع فكشفت فإذا فخد عظيمة فهالني ما رأيت وكنت أحفر بين يدي شيخ مقبري مسن وكان أطروشا (٣) فقلت له ما هذا وأوقفته على الحال فقال يا بني هذا من الصحابة ممن كان مع خالد بن الوليد لأن كان لباسهم الفراء وكان الحفر من نحو القبلة من المقابر عند السور في باب توما٥٥٦١ -
