علي بن محمد بن عبد الصمد بن حمزة بن عبد الله بن الحسين بن عبد الله بن الشام أبو القاسم الأطرابلسي سكن دمشق وحج فسمع ببغداد سنة سبع وخمسمائة أبا علي محمد بن سعيد بن نبهان الكاتب والشريف أبا طالب الحسين بن محمد الزينبي وأبا القاسم علي بن أحمد بن محمد بن بيان الرزاز وأبا بكر محمد بن أحمد بن الحسن الشاشي الفقيه وأبا بكر محمد بن أحمد الحبوشاني الصوفي وكتب الحديث بخط حسن سمع منه شئ يسير وقد رأيته غير مرة ولم أسمع منه شيئا ورأيت بخطه عدة أجزاء يترجم فيها على الصحابة وعلى أمهات المؤمنين وكان شيخا بهيا مات قبل سنة أربعين وخمسمائة ٥٠٤٥ -
