علي بن القاسم بن المظفر بن علي (١) أبو الحسن بن الشهرزوري (٢) الشافعي القاضي ولي القضاء بواسط في أيام البرسقي وبالرحبة ثم ولي قضاء الموصل والبلاد الجزرية والشامية التي في ولاية ابن قسيم الدولة وقدم معه دمشق حين حاصرها الحصر الأول ودخلها حتى استقر الصلح بينه وبين صاحبها محمود بن بوري وكان حسن الإعتقاد رجلا من الرجال له تقدم وفيه شهامة وتوفي يوم السبت السادس عشر من شهر رمضان سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وخمسمائة بحلب وحمل تابوته إلى الرافقة فدفن في المشهد المنسوب إلى علي بن أبي طالب بظاهر الرقة ٥٠٠٦ -
