علي بن أحمد الديبلي الصوفي كان يكون بجبل لبنان ذكره أبو عبد الرحمن السلمي في كتاب تاريخ الصوفية فقال ما أخبرناه أبو الحسن عبد الغافر بن إسماعيل في كتابه أنا محمد بن يحيى بن إبراهيم قال قال أنا أبو عبد الرحمن السلمي علي بن أحمد الديبلي من أقران جعفر الخلدي جاوربمكة سنين (١) وكان قبل ذلك ينزل جبل لبنان إن لم يكن الرسعني فهو غيره ٤٧٩٢ -
