عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن الحسن بن طوق أبو القاسم التغلبي البغدادي أصله من الموصل قدم دمشق رسولا من السلطان مسعود وحدث بها عن ابي عبد الله الحسين بن احمد بن محمد بن طلحة النعالي (١) كتب عنه بعض اصحابنا ورأيته ببغداد وبدمشق ولم أسمع منه على عمد شيئا لأنه لم يكن الحديث من شأنه وذكر لي أبو سعد بن السمعاني انه سأل عن مولده فقال في ليلة الحادي والعشرين من شوال سنة تسع وسبعين وأربعمائة وبلغني انه قتل في طريق الموصل سنة اثنتين وأربعين وخمسمائة ٣٩٣٧ -
