عبد الله بن محمد بن سعد الله أبو محمد البغدادي (٣) الفقيه الحنفي الواعظ سمع الحديث ببغداد وسمع من عمي واكثر ملازمة والدي وسمع منه الكثير وقال لنا (٤) والدي ﵀ ما رأيت من الحنفية من يطلب الحديث إلا ثلاثة (٥) شيخنا أبا عبد الله البلخي ورفيقنا أبا علي بن العزيز (٦) الدمشقي وصاحبنا الفقيه أبا محمد البغدادي وتفقه ببلده ودرس بمسجد أسد الدين الذي قبلة الميدان وله اثر صالح في التحريض على قصد البلاد المصرية واستنقاذها ممن كانت في يده وهو شديد التعصب (٧)ففيه (١) مبالغ عداوة الرافضية (٢) حسن الاخلاق وتولى التدريس بالقاهرة في مدرسة الحنفية مدة إلى أن مات بمصر في أربع مائة (٣) ٣٤٩٨ -
