عبد الله بن إبراهيم أبو محمد الكرخي (٥) حكى عن بعض شيوخه كتب عنه عبد العزيز بن محمد بن عبدوية الشيرازي قرأت في كتاب عبد العزيز بن محمد الشيرازي الصوفي حدثني أبو محمد عبد الله بن إبراهيم الكرخي بدمشق حدثني بعض شيوخنا أنه أخذ بعض الكتاب في شئ قد رفع (٦) عليه فحبس فكتب إلى الوزير رقعة يستعطفه فيها فتلطف في أمرهوأخرجه فكتب إليه رقعة يقول فيها * مازلت في غمرات الموت مطرحا * قدغاب عني لطيف الفكر من حيلي فلم يزل دائبا يسعى بلطفك بي * حتى استليت (١) حياتي من يدي أجلي * ٣١٨٣ -
