طغتكين أبو منصور المعروف بأتابك (١) كان من رجال الدولة وزوجه نام ابنه دقاق وكان مع تاج الدولة لما ذهب إلى الري (٢) لقتال ابن أخته (٣) ثم رفع إلى دمشق بعد قتل تاج الدولة وكان أتابك دقاق مدة ولايته فما مات دقاق استولى على دمشق وكان شهما مهيبا مؤثرا لعمارة ولايته شديدا على أهل العيب والفساد وامتدت أيامه إلى أن مات يوم السبت السابع ويقال الثامن من صفر سنة اثنتين (٤) وعشرين وخمسمائة دفن عند المسجد الجديد قبلي المصلىذكر من اسمه طغج ٢٩٦٩ -
