صاعد بن عبد الرحمن حكى عنه ابنه عبد الرحمن بن صاعد قرأت بخط أبي الحسين الرازي حدثني محمد بن أحمد بن عروان نا أحمد بن المعلى نا عبد الرحمن بن صاعد بن عبد الرحمن قال سمعت أبي يقول لما خرج أبو العميطر ينفي أهل العراق عن مدينة دمشق فخرجت إلى مدينة حمص واختفى أخ لي يقال له عبيد الله بدمشق فوقع في يده فأمر بضرب عنقه فقتل٢٧٩٠ -
