السري بن زياد بن علاقة ويقال ابن زياد بن أبي كبشة السكسكي من أهل دمشق كان ممن سعى في قتل الوليد بن يزيد له ذكر في التواريخ قد تقدم ذكره أخبرنا أبو غالب الماوردي أنا أبو الحسن السيرافي أنا أحمد بن إسحاق أنا أحمد بن عمران نا موسى بن زكريا حدثنا خليفة بن خياط (١) حدثني إسماعيل بن إبراهيم حدثني عبد الله بن واقد الجرمي وكان شهد قتل الوليد فذكره وقال فكان أول من هجم عليه السري بن زياد بن أبي كبشة السكسكي وعبد السلام اللخمي فأهوى إليه السري بالسيف فضربه عبد السلام على قرنه وقتل ٢٤٠٦ -
