راشد بن محمد بن عقيل بن جنن (١) أبو طاهر القرشي المعروف بابن المكبري العطار كان شيخا مسنا وذكر أنه سمع من إبراهيم بن عقيل بن المكبري (٢) وأبي بكر الخطيب وأبي الحسن بن أبي الحديد وأنه سمع بالعراق ولم يكن عنده شئ من الحديث ولم يظفر له بشئ من سماعه وقرئ عليه شئ يسير بالإجازة المطلقة من عبد العزيز الكتاني وقد سمعت منه شيئا من ذلك مات أبو طاهر يوم الخميس الخامس من شهر رمضان سنة اثنين (٣) وأربعين وخمس مائة وهو في عشر المائة ٢١٢٢ -
