دري بن عبد الله المستنصري الملقب بشهاب الدولة (١٢) ولي إمرة دمشق في أيام الملقب بالمستنصر فقدمها في العشر الأخير من ذيالقعدة سنة ست وخمسين وأربعمائة بعد عزل حيدرة بن منزو وانصرف عنها في بقية هذه السنة وولي الرملة فتوجه إليها وقتل بها في شهر ربيع الآخر سنة ستين وأربعمائة وخلت دمشق بعده من الولاة مدة إلى أن أعيد إليها المعروف بأمير الجيوش واليا لها ولايته الثانية سنة ثمان وخمسين في شعبان قرأت ذلك بخط شيخنا أبي محمد هبة الله بن أحمد الأكفاني سوى ذكر حيدرة بن منزوا "ذكر من اسمه (١) دعبل " ٢٠٨٣ -
