الخضر بن نصر بن عقيل بن نصر أبو العباس الإيربلي (١) الفقيه الشافعي (٢) قدم دمشق وأقام بها مدة وكان تفقه ببغداد على الإمام أبي الحسن علي بن محمد بن علي الطبري المعروف بالكيا ثم رجع إلى إربل فكان يفتي بها ويدرس وكان عالما بالمذهب والخلاف والفرائض زاهدا ورعا متقللا من الدنيا سئل عن مولده فقال لا أحقه لكني سمعت والدتي تقول كنت في قبل شرف الدولة بك نفساء قال وأظنه سنة ثمان وسبعين وأربعمائة وجمع كتابا في فضائل الصحابة رضي الله عن هم روى فيه أحاديث بغير إسانيد وكان في إقامته بظاهر دمشق منقطعا في (٣) بياض وهو غار في جبل الربوة ومات ﵀ بإربل وقد نيف على المائة أو قاربها (٤) ١٩٨٤ -
