    الحكم بن الحارث الفهمي شاعر وفد على معاوية قرأت في كتاب يرويه أبو علي أحمد بن عبد الله العبدي عن وجوده في كتاب أبيه عن أبي عبيدة معمر بن المثنى قال وذكر أن الحكم بن الحارث الفهمي قدم على معاوية يشكو زيادا فدخل عليه فأنشده قوله * وإنكم قوم ميامين كنتم * وأهل خلود لا يضيق بها سرب وإن زيادا موعث في أديمكم * وشائمكم والشؤم ليس له نحب وتارككم في لعنة بعد مدحكم * وداء الصحاح أن تصافحها الجرب ووالله لا ينهى زيادا وغيه * سوى أن تقول لا زياد ولا حرب * فذكروا أن معاوية قال قبح الله رأي زياد أما والله لقد أوصيته بك وأمره معاوية بمحاورته والتجاوز عن زياد ١٦٨٧ -
