مكرر الحسين بن أحمد بن عبد الصمد ابن محمد بن تميم بن غانم بن الحسن أبو القاسم التميمي الشاهد سمع أبا القاسم بن أبي العلاء وأبا الفتح نصر بن إبراهيم وأبا عبد الله بن أبي الحديد وأبا الفرج سهل بن بشر وأبا نصر الطريثيثي (١) وكتب الحديث بخطه فأكثر وحدث بشئ يسير سمع منه بعض أصحابنا ولم أسمع منه شيئا وقد أجاز لي جميع حديثه توفي أبو القاسم بن تميم ليلة الإثنين السادس والعشرين من صفر سنة إحدى وثلاثين وخمسمائة ودفن من الغد في داره بباب البريد ثم نقل بعد ذلك إلى جبل قاسيون في سنة ست وخمسين وخمسمائة وكان مولده ليلة الجمعة التاسع والعشرين من المحرم سنة ست وستين وأربعمائة ١٤٩٦ -
